バフェットさんも最悪期は過ぎたとの見解

バフェットさんは、New York Times へ寄稿し、
"The United States economy is now out of the emergency room and appears to be on a slow path to recovery."
集中治療室を出て、ゆっくり回復に向かってるように見える、との見解。
ただ、エドワード･ロレンツが唱えたバタフライ効果※に絡めて、
財政出動・金融緩和をやりすぎた"The Greenback Effect"の副作用を懸念。

しかし相変わらず、韻を踏んだ表現がおもろい人だね。
"Unchecked carbon emissions will likely cause icebergs to melt.
Unchecked greenback emissions will certainly cause the purchasing power of currency to melt."

※バタフライ効果
様々な事象相互が複雑に影響し合っているシステムの場合、
通常なら無視してしまうような小さなことが、やがて大きな現象を生む、
って感じのカオス理論からきた話。
1972年にエドワード･ロレンツが
"Does the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas?"
という題で講演をやったのがきっかけで名付けられたらしい。
